Community Building with Connectr

At Connectr, the innovation hub for new energy, groundbreaking ideas and collaborations are accelerating the energy transition.

In partnership with Connectr, we’ve built two powerful communities: Heavy Duty Charging and Temporary Energy Systems.

These networks bring together companies and knowledge institutions to collaboratively address and further develop complex topics related to energy and mobility.

The Heavy Duty Charging Community is the platform where logistics professionals and technological innovators collaborate on the future of heavy electric vehicles and the associated charging infrastructure. With monthly meetings at the Connectr Shared Office, we provide an environment for knowledge sharing, networking, and the joint development of innovative demonstration projects.

The Temporary Energy Systems Community specifically focuses on the electrification of construction sites. Here, we bring construction companies, energy experts, and technology suppliers together to develop sustainable and temporary energy solutions. From electric construction machines to mobile energy storage systems, this community accelerates the transition to emissions-free construction sites.

We also organized several valuable masterclasses, consortiums, and demonstration projects, through which we took concrete steps towards a sustainable future.

E-mobility, energy storage, sustainable infrastructure.

Charging structure for Port of Rotterdam

In the Port of Rotterdam, we’ve made significant strides in e-mobility.

Using our Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA), we developed six scenarios for the design and realization of a charging plaza for electric passenger transport in the port. We provided advice on the layout of the plaza and helped draft an inquiry for potential market partners.

As always, we maintained strict objectivity by focusing on the best-fitting technologies rather than specific brands.

To top it off, we created a detailed charging plan and implementation strategy.

A clear overview of the best choices. No guesswork, but concrete facts and insights that serve as the foundation for a well-supported and scalable design.

With this, the Port of Rotterdam takes the first step towards an emissions-free future.

Emission-Free Maintenance Charging Strategy for Rijkswaterstaat (A44)

We advised Rijkswaterstaat on developing a charging strategy to ensure the three bridges on the A44 could be maintained emission-free.

Based on a developed power profile for each execution phase, we formulated a targeted charging advice. As a result, the necessary grid connection for the charging area was requested in time, and the bridges received emission-free maintenance.

Guidelines for Safe Use of Electric Equipment with Bouwend Nederland

Bouwend Nederland tasked us with developing guidelines for the safe use of electric equipment. We identified all relevant stakeholders and led both a core team and a sounding board group to draft the initial version of the guidelines.

Next, we collaborated with key stakeholders, including KOMAT and Rijkswaterstaat, to refine and finalize the document.

A definitive guideline for all of the Netherlands. The first serious step towards an emission-free and safe construction sector.

And we are quite proud of that.

Hydrogen Refueling Station in the Eemshaven

We advised Green Planet on developing a hydrogen refueling station in the Eemshaven. This station sources hydrogen from three different suppliers, purifies it, and compresses it to the appropriate pressure.

The project is still in the implementation phase, but the result promises to be a significant step toward a future-proof energy supply in the Eemshaven.
